Both app stores make developers declare what data their app collects and shares. Those declarations appear on our store listings as "No data collected" and "Data Not Collected". This page shows the underlying answers, so you can hold us to them.

Google Play — Data safety section

Apple App Store — Privacy "nutrition label"

Every category is marked Data Not Collected:

Which permissions we ask for

Every one of these is optional, and all of them work entirely on your device. See the privacy policy for the details.

Lekhya asks for no SMS, camera, photo, microphone, location, contacts or calendar access, and the Android release has no internet permission at all.

Independent verification

These are declarations, and declarations should be checkable. On Android you can inspect the permissions of the exact file we publish:

aapt2 dump permissions app-release.apk

There is no android.permission.INTERNET in the output. See the security page for the other three layers that back this up.
