Hoopie Loopie — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Hoopie Loopie ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. Hoopie Loopie is a family-friendly memory game designed for children and adults. We built the App so that it works without collecting personal information, without requiring an account, and without any server of our own. Please read this policy carefully; by installing or using the App you acknowledge and agree to it.

1. The Short Version

• We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal information. The App has no backend server and no user accounts.
• All game data stays on your device. Progress, coins, scores, settings, and any photos you add never leave your device through anything we operate.
• Ads are served by Google AdMob in child-directed, non-personalized mode with the strictest content rating (G / General audiences).
• Leaderboards and achievements are optional and handled by Google Play Games Services (Android) / Apple Game Center (iOS) under Google's and Apple's own privacy policies.
• The one-time "Remove Ads" purchase is processed entirely by the app store. We never see or handle your payment details.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, request, or have access to any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses
• Passwords or account credentials (the App has no accounts)
• Precise or approximate location
• Contacts, call logs, SMS, or calendar data
• Microphone or camera streams
• Health, financial, or government-identifier information
• Browsing history or data from other apps
• Any data from children — or anyone else — for marketing, profiling, tracking, or resale purposes

The App requests only two system permissions: Internet (required to load ads and, if you opt in, sync leaderboard scores) and Notifications (optional; used solely for a local daily play reminder scheduled on your own device — see Section 6).

3. Information Stored Only on Your Device

The following data is created by the App and saved exclusively on your device (in the App's private storage). It is never uploaded to us — we have no server to upload it to:

• Game progress: levels completed, coins, high scores, streaks
• Unlocked content: animal packs, character skins, purchases state
• Settings and preferences (e.g., sound options)
• Local scoreboard entries and pass-and-play player names you type in
• Photos you optionally add for the Name Memory game or custom buddy faces. These are stored as image data inside the App's private storage on your device only. They are never transmitted, analyzed, or shared by us. Deleting the App deletes them.

You can erase all of this at any time by clearing the App's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Because Hoopie Loopie is designed for families and children, we configure AdMob in its most protective mode on every launch:

• Child-directed treatment is enabled (tagForChildDirectedTreatment), invoking COPPA-compliant ad serving.
• Under-age-of-consent treatment is enabled (tagForUnderAgeOfConsent), invoking GDPR "GDPR-K" protections for users in the EEA/UK.
• Maximum ad content rating is set to G (General audiences) — the strictest rating Google offers.
• In this configuration Google disables personalized advertising and interest-based profiling for ad requests from the App. The App does not request the device advertising identifier (the Android AD_ID permission is not declared).

To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK may process limited technical data on Google's systems, such as a device's IP address (as part of ordinary internet communication), non-persistent device information, coarse diagnostics, and ad interaction events (e.g., that an ad was shown or tapped). This processing is performed by Google as an independent service provider under its own terms. We do not receive, see, or store this data. For details, see:

Ad types shown: banner, interstitial (between rounds), and rewarded ads that play only when you explicitly choose to watch them in exchange for in-game coins.

5. Optional Game Services (Leaderboards & Achievements)

If — and only if — you choose to sign in, the App connects to Google Play Games Services (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS) to submit your scores to leaderboards and unlock achievements. In that case:

• Your Play Games / Game Center profile (gamer tag, avatar) and submitted scores are managed by Google or Apple under their privacy policies, not by us.
• We transmit only your in-game score and achievement events to those services. We do not receive or store other players' data; leaderboards are displayed through Google's/Apple's own native interface.
• You may decline sign-in entirely; every game mode works without it.

6. Notifications

The App can show one gentle daily reminder to play. This notification is scheduled locally on your device by the App itself. There is no push notification server, no remote messaging, and no data transmitted. On Android 13+ and iOS the system asks for your permission first; declining (or revoking it later in system settings) fully disables reminders and nothing else changes.

7. In-App Purchase ("Remove Ads")

The App offers a single, optional, one-time purchase that permanently removes advertising. The transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit. We never receive your name, card number, billing address, or any payment credential. The only thing stored is a local "purchased" flag on your device (restorable through the store's own restore mechanism). Purchases in the App require the device's store account authentication, which for children's accounts is governed by the parental controls of Google Play / Apple Family Sharing.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA, GDPR-K, and Similar Laws)

Hoopie Loopie is designed to be enjoyed by children as part of a mixed family audience, and we treat all users as children for data-protection purposes:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (US COPPA), under 16 (EEA GDPR), or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.
• Ad serving is locked to child-directed, non-personalized mode for every user, not just those identified as children (Section 4).
• The App contains no chat, no social features, no user-generated content sharing, no external links presented to children except legally required notices, and no data-collection forms.
• Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for a parent to request, review, or delete from us — everything lives on the family's own device and is removed by uninstalling the App.

If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the App, contact us at the email above and we will act promptly; however, the App provides no mechanism for such submission.

9. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and Other Privacy Laws)

Under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar laws, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We honor these rights by design: we hold no personal data about you at all, so there is nothing to access, sell, share, or delete on our side.

• We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
• For data processed by Google (ads, optional game services), please exercise your rights directly with Google via https://policies.google.com/privacy or your device's ad settings (e.g., "Delete advertising ID" on Android).
• Data stored locally on your device is under your exclusive control (Section 3).

10. Data Security

Since we neither collect nor transmit personal data to any system we operate, the primary security boundary is your own device. On-device data is kept in the App's private, sandboxed storage that other apps cannot read on an unmodified device. Communications performed by Google's SDKs use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) controlled by Google.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

• On-device data: retained until you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App, at which point it is permanently deleted from the device.
• Data held by us: none, so our retention period is zero.
• Data processed by Google/Apple: governed by their retention policies linked above.

We do not use any analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, attribution SDK, social-media SDK, or data broker.

13. International Users

The App can be used worldwide. Because we do not collect personal data, no cross-border transfer of personal data to us ever occurs. Any transfers inherent in Google's or Apple's services are governed by their respective safeguards (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable).

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or in legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this document and, where required by law, additional prominent notice within the App or its store listing. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
